Specifically, we clarified (1) the experience and degree of future interest in climbing Mount Tsukuba, (2) visit experience and degree of interest in 11 tourist spots around Mount Tsukuba, and (3) participation experience and degree of interest in 10 events held in this area. In these analyses, we classified university students into the following four groups: ① second-year or higher university students from University of Tsukuba, ② first-year undergraduate students from University of Tsukuba and Ibaraki Prefectural University of Health Sciences, ③ University of Tsukuba international students, and ④ The Open University of Japan students. In addition, we considered their actual conditions. Furthermore, we carried out the questionnaire survey at a civic lecture for citizens in 2013.
