Assistance provided ranges from answering trivial questions to translating Japanese documents to English. It turns out that international students felt comfortable using the services at the Ask Us Desk, and Japanese peer-supporters found assisting international students challenging but rewarding. It is suggested that Ask Us Desk is an effective way to reach international students, which may facilitate healthy cultural adjustment and mental wellness.
