 note = {By analyzing texts written by French learners of the Japanese language, we can observe errors such as the use of dake instead of the adverb yatto. This error is probably due to the fact that the French adverb seulement is used both as yatto and dake. Therefore, in the present study, we will analyze the meaning and usage of the Japanese adverbs yatto and dake in comparison with the French adverb seulement. Then, we will examine why learners make this error and finally we will discuss the points to be taken into consideration when teaching the adverbs yatto and dake.  要旨 フランス語を母語とする日本語学習者における作文に、副詞「やっと」を使うべきところに「だけ」が使われるという誤用が観察された。この誤用は恐らく、フランス語の副詞seulementが日本語の副詞「やっと」と「だけ」の用法を兼ねているからであろう。そこで、本稿では、日本語の「やっと」と「だけ」、そしてフランス語のseulement、それぞれの意味と用法を分析し、学習者がなぜ上述した誤用を犯すかについて検討する。そして、「やっと」と「だけ」を教える際に留意すべき点について考察していきたい。},
