Because foreign children have diverse backgrounds and cir¬cumstances including nationality mother language period of stay in Japan and Japanese language ability of their parents it is difficult to create a standard form of support that matches the developmental stages and the fixed schedule used in school education. In this practical activity we focused on vocabulary and sentence patterns that appear in the science textbooks and created teaching materials.
