To determine the clinical significance of this phenomenon, hepatic RT-DW images were reviewed.\nMethods: One hundred and five MR examinations, including RT-DWI, were assessed. The patient group included 62 non-cirrhotic and 43 cirrhotic individuals. All images were evaluated by mutual agreement of two radiologists from the viewpoints of incidence of pseudo-anisotropy and correlation between pseudo-anisotropy and the quality of trace images. The ADC of normal hepatic parenchyma of non-cirrhotic livers were measured in both areas with and without pseudo-anisotropy.\nResults: Pseudo-anisotropy was observed in 60% of non-cirrhotic (37/62) and 30% of cirrhotic (13/43) images. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.001). The quality of trace images showed a tendency to worsen as pseudo-anisotropy became significant. However, the quality of trace images was generally satisfactory, with only two patients whose trace images were difficult to interpret due to pseudo-anisotropy. The areas with pseudo-anisotropy showed higher ADC than those without pseudo-anisotropy (P < 0.001).\nConclusion: Pseudo-anisotropy is a type of artifact that originates from respiratory movement. Even though respiratory triggering is employed, ADC measurement of the liver is inaccurate because of pseudo-anisotropy, especially in non-cirrhotic patients.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_5_identifier_34":{"attribute_name":"URI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_type":"HDL","subitem_identifier_uri":"http://hdl.handle.net/2241/98270"}]},"item_5_publisher_27":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"Springer Berlin"}]},"item_5_relation_10":{"attribute_name":"PubMed番号","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"17960439","subitem_relation_type_select":"PMID"}}]},"item_5_relation_11":{"attribute_name":"DOI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"10.1007/s10334-007-0084-0","subitem_relation_type_select":"DOI"}}]},"item_5_rights_12":{"attribute_name":"権利","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_rights":"© ESMRMB 2007"}]},"item_5_select_15":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_select_item":"author"}]},"item_5_source_id_7":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0968-5243","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_5_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA10962689","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Nasu, Katsuhiro"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Kuroki, Yoshifumi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Fujii, Hirofumi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Minami, Manabu"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2013-12-19"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"Magma_20-4.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"339.2 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"Magma_20-4.pdf","url":"https://tsukuba.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/15360/files/Magma_20-4.pdf"},"version_id":"3731a7e7-9f87-4c1c-a4cf-6de5f979f317"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Hepatic pseudo-anisotropy: a specific artifact in hepatic diffusion-weighted images obtained with respiratory triggering","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Hepatic pseudo-anisotropy: a specific artifact in hepatic diffusion-weighted images obtained with respiratory triggering"}]},"item_type_id":"5","owner":"1","path":["537","535","428"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2008-02-12"},"publish_date":"2008-02-12","publish_status":"0","recid":"15360","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Hepatic pseudo-anisotropy: a specific artifact in hepatic diffusion-weighted images obtained with respiratory triggering"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":5},"updated":"2022-04-27T09:57:39.023547+00:00"}
